Our Licensing Model
We use a value-based licensing model: the cost of a license reflects the project’s scale and the value the typeface brings.
Font licenses should be owned and paid for by the client, not the designers or agencies working for them. The value a typeface adds naturally grows with the size of the client.
With these principles in mind, our pricing is based on the total number of people employed by the client — not the size of their design agency, department, or the number of people who use the fonts.
Determining License Size
From our experience as designers, we know it can be tricky to figure out which license size fits a project. That’s why we’ve simplified things: the only metric that matters is the total number of employees your client has — no matter which license type you choose.
Credit where it’s due: thanks to Dinamo Typefaces, who first introduced this modern licensing model in 2020.✨
Licensing Process
As a designer, it couldn’t be simpler. You can download our trials, which include the full character set, and use them throughout the design process for free. Trial licenses allow internal presentations without restrictions.
A license purchase is only required when the work is ready for release — printing a publication, launching a brand identity, or going live with a website. Designers only need to purchase a license for themselves when using the typeface for personal projects, such as their own website — in this case, the designer is effectively their own client.
